We just love Joyce being so close! We are able to spend lots of time with her and make special memories like this!

Pumpkin Patch with Joyce
Joyce's church, Holy Cross Episcopal, does the pumpkin patch in downtown Simpsonville so the kids and I met her down there so they could pick out some pumpkins! They had this awesome area set up for picture taking!

Ham vs. Turkey
Ian and I were driving home one night and we saw this sign. Ian said "If it was a Ham Festival, I would definitely go!" It took me a minute, but then I realized what he thought the "Turkish Food Festival" was for!

Bonner's Eye Appointment
Bonner mentioned a few weeks ago that she can't see the board at school anymore so I called my new friend & optometrist, Sherri Rast, to see if she could see her. I tried to explain to Bonner what it would be like and it was a great appointment. I did feel bad that she was reading off the letters and lots of them were wrong. Once Sherri got the lens correct for her to see through, Bonner actually said, "Oh, that last letter is a B! I can see it!" Mother of the Year right here!
Got a little nervous waiting!
But it became clear in the middle of this process....
that she definitely needed these!

Boosterthon 2018
Another terrific Boosterthon is in the books and I was so busy running around that I didn't get hardly any pictures of the kids. For the 4th and 5th graders, they actually get to have the Color Run which is super fun and super gross!
From Bonner's Class (back to front):
Sophia Sibil, Gilly Adams, Briget Parker, Sadie Kenefsky (with her eyes closed), Bonner, Kariella Thrasher, McKensey Eubanks
Ian wanted goggles to protect his eyes!
And because the kids looked like Lexi covered in color, I had the blower to get them clean!

No Words
I am not normally at a loss for words, but I must admit that I have no idea why this happened or how she fit!

Meet My Hero by Bonner
Bonner had to write "All About Me" to introduce herself to her new teacher and friends. Part of the write-up was to write about "Meet My Hero" and melt my heart, she wrote about me!
Meet My Hero
Jennifer - aka Mommy
My hero is my mom because she is always encouraging and helpful. She is always there for me when I need her. That is why my mom is my hero.
P.S. I am going to bookmark this page so when she is rolling her eyes and yelling at me during her teenage years, I can remind her that she loved me at some point!
