No Words

I am not normally at a loss for words, but I must admit that I have no idea why this happened or how she fit!

Meet My Hero by Bonner

Bonner had to write "All About Me" to introduce herself to her new teacher and friends.  Part of the write-up was to write about "Meet My Hero" and melt my heart, she wrote about me!

Meet My Hero
Jennifer - aka Mommy
My hero is my mom because she is always encouraging and helpful.  She is always there for me when I need her.  That is why my mom is my hero.

P.S. I am going to bookmark this page so when she is rolling her eyes and yelling at me during her teenage years, I can remind her that she loved me at some point!

First Volleyball Game

She is really enjoying volleyball and even looked the part during her first game!

Strike the Pose

The ladies at the bank asked me to come by and "strike the Heisman" pose for their Tailgate Party.  It was hysterical, but I tried my best!  Even got the Georgia shirt and red Converse shoes to prove it! Oh, yes, and pearl earrings - because all the cool Heisman winners wear pearls!

Sports, Sports, and Sports

Bonner decided in the Summer that she wants to try her hand - or rather her arms - at volleyball!  Ian has picked soccer for his Fall sport.

Her first practice!

Hot and sweaty after his first game!

I didn't pick up a fall sport since my knee is still rather quirky feeling!  I have just relegated myself to be poolside - but now I can watch my games on the big screen ... and hear it!  We got outdoor speakers installed and it is awesome - for years, we have enjoyed the screen, but never been able to hear the sound very well so it's going to be terrific to actually see and hear the game while being outside!

1st Day of Fourth Grade

The kids were excited to meet their teachers this past Thursday night.  Ian got a "new to Oakview" teacher, Mrs. Leonard, and Bonner got Ms. Olivier who has been at Oakview for years!  Not sure which light-socket Ian put his hand in before posing for pictures, but his hair is proof it was one of them!

Bonner and Lexi posing outside the school!

Bonner with Ms. Olivier - not sure how I missed getting a picture of Ian with Mrs. Leonard, but I definitely did!  Both kids are thrilled with their teachers and we are looking forward to an awesome fourth grade year!

Another Painting

Bonner wanted to paint something for her dad for his birthday.  I thought this whimsical football paying homage to the G was terrific!
