The best thing about a snow day is carbing up! I always have to hear about how yummy Lindsay makes homemade waffles so this morning, I thought "well, if she can do it, so can I!" So I got our Barrett's waffle maker and whipped up some yummy carbs! And if you don't mind, I'm going to toot my waffle-making horn! They were light and fluffy and delicious!
Wasn't too long after breakfast that Bonner was ready to suit up and "hit the backyard"! Fortunately, the McBrides had snow clothes for Ian and the Runnions had some for Bonner! Without our neighbors, the kids would be running around naked!
Goodness gracious, I love this girl to the moon and back again and again and again!!
The kids cleaned the snow off the diving board only to toss the snowballs into the pool ;-) Let's hope swimming in it is as much fun as this!
I thought this was hysterical ... kids made our "family" - to the far left, the hump looking thing is Belle ;-) I love how Barrett is alot taller than me and I'm just round ;-) Too funny!
Ben brought over the sleds and "snowboards" and the kids had a great time trying to make a path down to the woods!
Didn't take Ian long before he "crashed" - Ben was getting it, though!
Bonner had it going for a minute, too - but I guess she hit a bump! Ha!
The 3 kids had a great time playing out in the snow. We had just come in to watch a movie when SB showed up at the door. The kids left crying and frustrated and I was a ball of tears after they left. But I try to focus on the fun we had for the few hours we were together!
